A famous building because, in 1909, the meeting of Porfirio Díaz and William Taft, President of the USA, was held here. It also served as headquarters for General Madero in 1911, for Francisco Villa in 1913 and Venustiano Carranza in 1914. It has a collection of photographs of the Maderista uprising taken by reporters from El Paso.

The El Boleo Museum (officially the Santa Rosalía Mining History Museum) is a cultural center located in Santa Rosalía, Baja California Sur, which preserves the legacy of the French mining company “El Boleo” that operated between 1885 and 1954. The museum is not only an exhibition space, but also a living testimony to Mexico's industrial past. Through its collections and historic building, it provides an understanding of how mining transformed a desert region into a prosperous community with a strong European influence.

Opened on September 7, 2024, the Felipe Carrillo Puerto City Historical Museum offers insight into the history and culture of the Maya people of Quintana Roo. Its exhibits explain the Caste War and the founding of Santa Cruz, the importance of chewing gum to the regional economy, the changes brought about by education, agricultural practices, and meliponiculture, as well as artistic and religious expressions. The museum demonstrates that Mayan culture is not solely a thing of the past but remains present in local communities and is an integral part of Felipe Carrillo Puerto’s identity.
