Calle de Argentina Ventana 1
Above the pedestrian walkway on República de Argentina Street, there are remains of a large Mexica foundation.
Along República de Argentina Street, between Justo Sierra and San Ildefonso, there are two archaeological windows with tempered glass displaying the remains of a large Mexica foundation. Its main front, located north of the Templo Mayor very close to the platform or perimeter wall that delimited the sacred enclosure on this same side, faces west.
The installation of these archaeological windows was made possible thanks to the intervention of the Urban Archaeology Program of the Templo Mayor Museum of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) during the street rehabilitation work carried out by the Public Space Authority of the Government of Mexico City between 2013 and 2014.
