Located in Morelia’s Historic Center, this museum serves as a meeting point between academic knowledge and the general public. Its exhibitions offer visitors a glimpse into different periods of human history and help them understand the social, cultural, and scientific processes that have contributed to the formation of today’s communities. Además de su función como espacio de exhibición, la Sala de Exposiciones del Centro INAH Michoacán cumple una importante labor educativa al acercar al público los resultados de investigaciones realizadas por especialistas en distintas áreas del conocimiento. Mediante sus actividades, contribuye a despertar el interés por la historia, fortalecer la identidad cultural y promover la conservación de los bienes que forman parte de la memoria colectiva.
