Bastrop State Park offers solitude, family fun, and a glimpse of the history of El Camino Real de los Tejas.
Bastrop State Park sits just east of Austin along State Highway 21, which follows one of the major routes of El Camino Real de los Tejas. In addition to viewing trail ruts, visitors can camp, swim, picnic, canoe, hike, birdwatch, and attend interpretive programs.
