Museo de Sitio Zona Paleontológica Rincón Colorado

As part of the experience, the museum offers a tour of the Rincón Colorado Paleontological Zone, where visitors can observe excavation sites and gain insight into the work paleontologists do to discover and preserve fossil remains. This site is considered one of Mexico’s most important paleontological sites, as unique dinosaur species, such as Velafrons coahuilensis, have been found there.
