One of the two squares of the site, whose fishing activity and maritime trade made its flourishing possible.
Pyramidal base: It has a temple in which at least two constructive stages can be observed. During the excavations carried out during 1975, the burial of a person of high rank was found in this building, accompanied by a copper axe, a bracelet and shell and bone ornaments.
Building of the Paintings: It is considered a palace and receives this name because it still conserves remains of mural painting.
Structure 4: Like Building 1, these are large galleries with colonnades that supported flat roofs. Because of its dimensions, the investigators have advanced the hypothesis that they were constructions of administrative type, in which meetings were arranged between the governing groups or to which the population went to pay tributes. Annexed to these buildings are other smaller ones, which could have been used by lower-ranking officials and priests related to public worship.
