The exhibition brings together paintings by Rufino Tamayo, selected by the artist himself to be included in the collection with which he founded the Tamayo Museum in Mexico City, as well as works on loan from private collections. Taken as a whole, the pieces showcase the aesthetic horizons the artist explored during his mature years, highlighting his conceptual and technical mastery.

Even in the final years of his life, Tamayo continued to create forms and colors that surprised and captivated viewers. Remaining attentive to world events, his work constantly enriched the visual culture of his time.

The proposal to revisit Rufino Tamayo’s work from these perspectives reaffirms the enduring relevance of his art, underscores its historical significance, and highlights the contributions he made to 20th-century art and to Mexico’s international profile.

Admission: $95
