The exhibition aims to recognize and highlight the deep connection between soccer and daily life in the neighborhood, through the stories, objects, images, and testimonies of those who have lived in and built this bond from the heart of Tepito. A special section of the exhibition is dedicated to “Las Gardenias,” a team made up of members of the LGBT+ community that has been a constant presence in local tournaments for decades.
