This exhibition marks María Ezcurra’s first solo show in Mexico and brings together a selection of works created at different points in her artistic career. Through these works, the artist explores escape as a strategy for challenging and transcending the stereotypes that have historically confined women to the domestic sphere. At the same time, she proposes a cartography of displacement understood as a process of personal and collective construction, where movement, memory, and shared experience become tools for imagining new ways of inhabiting the world.
