Artibeus jamaicensis
Este murciélago percha en cuevas, cenotes cerrados, árboles huecos y edificios mayas. Se alimenta de frutos y hojas, aunque su fruta favorita son los higos. Es una especie común y ampliamente distribuida en la Península de Yucatán. A nivel local es muy abundante.
