Actualmente el Museo del Valle de Tehuacán del Centro INAH Puebla se localiza dentro del Complejo Cultural del Carmen, inaugurado en 1967. En 2002 se intervino el inmueble y se
elaboró una nueva propuesta museológica, reinaugurándose en el año 2003.
