Specializing in Mayan archeology, ethnoarcheology of traditional dwellings, figurines, clothing and gender archeology. She heads the Figurines Project of the Gulf Coast: gender, identity and role. She has participated in the research of the brick and figurine collection of Comalcalco and the research of residential units.
