Salvador Rueda Smithers
Museo Nacional de Historia, Castillo de Chapultepec
History graduate of the UNAM Faculty of Philosophy and Letters with an MA in Art Studies from the Ibero-American University. Since 2005 he has directed the National History Museum, Chapultepec Castle, which he had previously directed from 1990-92. He was a Research Fellow of the Historical Studies Department of the National Institute of Anthropology and History from 1995 to 2002. He has lectured in Pre-Hispanic Art at the Ibero-American University, on the Mexican Revolution at the National School of Anthropology and History and on World History at the UNAM Faculty of Political and Social Science. He is a member of the editorial board of Gaceta de Museos (INAH National Museums and Exhibitions Office); the Board of Editors ofRevista Historias, (INAH Historical Studies Department) and the editorial board of the journal Estudios de Historia Contemporánea (UNAM Institute of Historical Research).
