Fine Art graduate of the Panamerican University with an MA in the History of Art from the University of Valladolid. She also has numerous diplomas in art and museum studies from Mexico and foreign institutions. She has held senior positions at museums including the Queretaro Regional Museum, the Museum of Glass, the Museum of Steel (Horno 3) and the Universal Culture Forum.
Her publications include: Historia del vidrio en México, La magia de las culturas: Historia de las antiguas civilizaciones and Ancient Egyptian Glass: Magic Amulet.
