Carlos Alberto Torreblanca Padilla
Centro INAH Zacatecas
He is a graduate of the National School of Anthropology and History and has an MA in History from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. He has worked on archeological projects at Hervideros in Durango, La Quemada in Zacatecas, Cora-Huichol in Nayarit-Jalisco, and El Cóporo in Guanajuato. He has also taken part in the Archeological Atlas Project of the State of Zacatecas, in archeological rescue work at Tamasopo, Cañada and El Potosí-Palo Alto, San Luis Potosi and at Paraíso Caxcan in Zacatecas.
He was one of the contributors to: “Políticas de trabajo en torno a la investigación, protección y conservación del patrimonio arqueológico del estado de Guanajuato. Criterios interinstitucionales e interdisciplinarios.” He has published numerous articles in specialist journals and is the author of two books: Manifestaciones rupestres en La Quemada and El Cóporo. Una antigua ciudad bajo la nopalera.
