Graduate of Building Restoration of the Manuel Castillo Negrete National School of Conservation, Restoration and Museum Studies. He managed the reconstruction of the fortress of Chapultepec Castle from 2002 to 2006. He has been the Director of the El Carmen Museum since 2006.
In 2013 he received the Mexico City Tourism Ministry’s El Pochteca de Plata prize for his contribution to the promotion, care and protection of the cultural, artistic and touristic heritage. He currently works as cultural advisor to the Delegación Álvaro Obregón. He has curated 23 exhibitions for the El Carmen Museum. He has written a number of publications including:
