Her bachelor’s degree was at the National School of Anthropology and History She is a level C Research Professor at the State of Mexico INAH Center. She has undertaken rescue and salvage archeology mainly in the Valley of Toluca and in the southwest of the State of Mexico. She has published numerous scientific and popular articles in scientific journals and in the book Exploración arqueológica en Ixtapan de la Sal which analyzes the funerary practices of the local Matlatzinca group and the Mexica who conquered this territory.

She has worked on the technical and legal protection of the archeological heritage, directing projects to record and define boundaries, preparing technical files for the archeological sites of Calixtlahuaca, La Malinche, El Zacate and Ocoyoacac. She has managed conservation and restoration projects in the archeological sites of Calixtlahuaca, Los Reyes, Ocoyoacac, Malinalco and in recent years at Tenayuca.

She has prepared curatorial briefs for temporary exhibitions and the first guide to the archeology gallery of the Anthropology Museum of the State of Mexico. She took part in the archeological signposting project, producing information cards for the archeological sites of Ocoyoacac, Malinalco and Calixtlahuaca. She has published mini-guides on the archeological sites of Tenayuca, Huexotla, Calixtlahuaca and Ocoyoacac to improve understanding of the architectural and historical characteristics of these sites.
