He comes from Vicente Guerrero, Puebla, was educated in the city of Tehuacan, and his professional training was at the National School of Anthropology and History in Mexico City. He has taken part in research projects in the states of Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Chiapas, Tabasco, Puebla, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos, Guerrero, Nayarit and Sinaloa. He has been on the office staff of the INAH Archeological Rescue Department since 2010. His current role is Director of the site museum and archeological site of Tehuacan Viejo.
