Archeologist trained at the National School of Anthropology and History, elementary school teacher from 1969 to 1975, has worked for INAH since 1975 and at the State of Mexico INAH Center since 1977. Her most notable projects include the following: archeological research in the municipality of Metepec, State of Mexico from 1994 to the present, including a number of archeological rescues from this area; major maintenance of the archeological monument zone of Calixtlahuaca-San Marcos, with the year 2000 season at Monument 3 and the 2015 season at the Tlaloc complex at Calixtlahuaca. Her career in archeological rescue and salvage work is well established, with work at Toluca, Metepec, Calimaya, San Antonio la Isla, Tenango and Santa María Rayón, among others. Her publications include the work. Metepec prehispánico, una historia que contar as well as the book chapters San Juan Bautista de Metepec, vástago de dos culturas;Cielo de alfareros; Metepec, de aldea y ciudad and Alfarería de Metepec. She has also published various articles of an academic and popular nature.
