Centro Comunitario Culhuacán, Ex Convento de San Juan Evangelista
She has been the educational advisor to the Culhuacan Monastery since 2013 involving several projects on the religious iconography of the sixteenth century, and her book Iconografía de Cartelas, Ex Convento Culhuacán is currently in publication. She has published articles “Ex Convento de Culhuacán: Tesoro histórico y cultural de Iztapalapa” in the Ocho Barrios magazine, and “Ex Convento de Culhuacán: una mirada al pasado a través de su arquitectura e iconografía”, in the publication Rutas de campo.
She prepared the press dossier for the museum’s web site, as well as the record for the Monastery’s murals in the INAH Unified Registry System for Public Monuments and Archeological and Historical Sites. She has coordinated several projects for children at the Culhuacan Monastery, such as the stop motion short film introducing the site museum featuring a rabbit monk and a possum (tlacuache), a toy swap for Christmas time, as well as the use of theater, musicals, sculpture, hydroponics, contemporary dance and recycling in the summer course.
UNAM veterinary and animal science graduate, with an internship in the faculty’s Specialty Hospital, and currently with a small species private clinic. She studied oil painting for three years and for ten years participated in the hermeticism and ecumenical iconography courses of given by Agustín Cadena.
