She is a History graduate of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas and has studied museums and curatorship in Mexico and abroad. She has curated more than 15 exhibitions, some at a national level and mostly from INAH projects. She won the National Miguel Covarrubias Award, a distinction at the National INAH Awards and the National INAH Award for the temporary exhibition El pecado y las tentaciones en la Nueva España [Sin and temptation in New Spain].
She has been the Assistant Director and Curator of the Guadalupe Museum in Zacatecas since 2004. She has written a number of articles.
