Archeology graduate of the ENAH, Marco Antonio Sánchez Ramírez has taken part in archeological projects in Mexico and the United States. He has also directed archeological sites such as Xochicalco in the state of Morelos and La Quemada and Las Ventanas in the state of Zacatecas. He is currently director of the Chichen Itza Archeological Site.
